The Office Clerk will handle all administrative tasks, including a combination of answering telephones and dispatching service for roadside assistance calls, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, filing, billing and invoicing, assisting with locating and hiring contractors, and billing/invoicing. More specific duties may include operating office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers. Answering telephones, directing calls, and taking messages. Communicating with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints. Maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer. Compiling, copying, sorting, and filing records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. Travel required on a daily basis throughout the state of Colorado and possibly to Albany, New York and Salt Lake City, Utah and surrounding areas to assist customers. Customer assistance on the road includes duties such as: changing tires; jump starting vehicles; deliver gas; keys locked in car; or other roadside assistance tasks. Must have reliable transportation.
